Animals will at all times be cared for in accordance with the NSW Animal Welfare Code of Practice
No. 5 for Dogs & Cats. This covers animal housing, hygiene, management role & healthcare.
We will also adhere the Pet Industry Association of Australia Standards and Guidelines for best
practice. This covers design of the facility, dog evaluation and acceptance, space requirements, play
safety and staffing requirements.
Dogs will not be kept unattended at any time or on site outside the hours of operation.
It is mandatory for all new dogs looking to attend daycare to undergo a behavioural evaluation to ensure your dog is a good fit for daycare before they can be added to our system. This process will take around 15-30 minutes and must be booked in with us by appointment only as a 'Meet & Greet'.
We conduct this assessment with the safety of other dogs and staff in mind, to ensure we can maintain a safe environment.
Provided the assessment is passed, we will then be able to accept your dogs bookings.
Any dogs who demonstrate antisocial behaviour or excessive barking towards staff and other dogs
will not be accepted for daycare.
Classes are conducted in a safe manner in a safe environment with a professional teacher/trainer. Basic training, manners & socialisation are taught to puppies whilst owners are given the best advice and techniques in regards to puppies ongoing training.
Puppy pre school is a five week course & runs one hour a week consecutively over the five weeks.
Puppies are required to be microchipped and have their first vaccination. Proof of micro-chip, vaccination and age are required upon booking in for classes. This information is generally all found on puppies first vaccination sheet or booklet proved by the puppies breeder or Veterinarian. All puppies must be healthy, and free of any infectious diseases or fleas when attending the premises. Any puppies known or suspected to be suffering from an infectious disease or parasites will not be admitted in our class and will be referred to their veterinarian.
Antisocial Dogs DO NOT require a 'Meet & Greet' appointment but must not be aggressive with staff. This will be evaluated upon arrival of appointment. Aggression towards staff may result in termination of your booking.
Although information status is required, dogs that are not spayed are welcome. There are no other dogs around so there is no need to be worried about any bad interactions.
